The OCR Nationals in Business were developed to recognise candidates’ skills, knowledge and understanding of business. They reward candidates’ abilities to carry out a range of tasks and have been designed to recognize candidates’ achievements in a modern, practical way that is relevant to the workplace.
The course has been chosen because it encourages and relies on students taking some responsibility for the own learning and becoming more independent learners.
The course is delivered in modules and is assessed using a portfolio of evidence. The course has no exams. This method of assessment enables students to achieve their full potential.
